We can also offer bespoke training events for schools, either at the Museum or in your own classroom.

Free Inset Events in Reading Museum
We hold regular free teacher training sessions at the Museum. We advertise these sessions on this page, through social media channels and via our email contact list. Please do sign up to our teachers email list if you might be interested in any of our events as we will normally promote them by email first. There is a sign up button at the bottom of this page. During these twilight sessions we focus on a variety of topics, for example sessions on Reading Abbey, Victorian topics and prehistory. We take inspiration from the museum's fantastic collection to provide you with a fun learning experience, and an opportunity to learn new techniques that you can use in the classroom.
