What:
Special craft sessions with Easter and Artic themed activities aimed at neurodivergent visitors and their families to complement our regular Saturday sessions. A breakout room, Quiet areas with tents and cushions and sensory bags will be available.
Please note that the Museum will be closed, except for those taking part in the sessions.
Siblings, families, carers and friends are all welcome (please book a space for each child attending). All activities are optional and you can visit at any point within the event times.
The session will offer:
- Access to galleries
- Reduced volume of gallery interactive sounds
- Sensory backpacks and ear defenders
- Break out spaces (our usual Saturday set up for families to try)
- Facilitated hands-on activity
- Spring trails
