In this session children will take part in a local history study and discover how the famous biscuit manufacturer, Huntley & Palmers, changed Victorian Reading from 1822 to 1900. Children will explore significant events, people and places and will work with a range of sources, such as maps, objects, film and photographs, to understand how our knowledge of the past is constructed. The session takes place in the Museum's dedicated Huntley & Palmers Gallery.
We recommend booking this session with Victorian Schoolroom.
