What:

In this storytelling session for children, Dr Neil Cocks from The University of Reading will introduce three classic monster tales: Circe; Frankenstein; The Minotaur. These are very different stories: comic and tragic; ancient and modern. Neil's lively storytelling makes connections between them, however, resulting in some interesting questions for the audience to think about.  Are monsters always the bad guys? Can there be an up-side to being one? Should we embrace change, or avoid it?
