What:
Meet our favourite monk Brother Atwater, who has joined us from 12th-century Reading Abbey to recruit some novice monks. Is your handwriting neat enough? Can you keep a vow of silence? Take part in these interactive sessions and learn what life was like almost 1,000 years ago!
Please note that all our May Half Term activities will take place in the Abbey Gateway. The Gateway has no step free access and there are uneven steps and floors. Buggies and pushchairs can be stored on the ground floor while you take part in the activity. Please visit Reading Museum for alternative activities or call the Visitor Services Officer in advance on 0118 937 3400 if you have access needs.
