In celebration of Older People’s day Reading Museum is offering a free relaxed and slow walking tour of the Museum and Abbey Ruins on Friday 4th October 2024 at 11am - 12pm (1 hour).
The tour will cover some key elements of the history of the Abbey and the participants will be able to see some of the objects in the Museum’s collection and explore the Ruins on foot.
The Abbey Ruins and the Museum are fully accessible, with level walkways. There are gravel paths in the Ruins.
This tour will be free, donations welcome, and bookable online. Limited spaces and all must book online prior to the event.
