Reading Biscuit Town Tour
Friday 9 September
To celebrate 200 years since Joseph Huntley opened his first baker’s shop at London Street, Museums Partnership Reading have created a trail to explore Huntley & Palmers heritage.
Join Reading Museum’s Brendan Carr and Matthew Williams exploring biscuit sites and other innovators on a walking tour between Reading Museum and The Museum of English Rural Life.

Reading Museum Store Tours
Wednesday 14 September
Join us behind the scenes at our new South Reading store. We will be celebrating 200 years of Reading Biscuit Town and looking at some of the exciting objects rediscovered during last year’s store move. Tours are in small groups (up to 6) led by Museum staff and last about 45 minutes. Directions will be sent by email a few days before the tour.
