No5 Young People: 50th anniversary display

Venue: Welcome Gallery Reading Museum

2021 marks 50 years of Reading's No5 Young People. The charity plays a key role in our community and has supported the mental health of thousands of young people in its history.

To celebrate this fantastic anniversary, we are delighted to be sharing No5's story in our latest community display. Explore archives from No5's history, objects lent by a former No5 volunteer, and artworks by young people today.

Artworks and workshops

The artworks in this exhibition were created in a series of No5 workshops, supported by Berkshire Community Foundation and the John Sykes Foundation. In these, young people worked with artists Carla Conte and Elii Daly (No5 Young Ambassador) to share their mental health stories through art and creativity.
