We have an inspirational collection of over 1000 loan boxes which your school can borrow to use in your classroom to support your delivery of the national curriculum in an exciting and hands-on-way.
Object handling allows pupils to use all their senses, such as touch, sight and smell, often leading to a more memorable experience.
The boxes are available to borrow each half term. If your school is not a member, please contact us for our ‘pay as you go’ option.
Boxes are available to schools in the Berkshire area only.
Each box is themed according to the contents. Our objects range from ancient to modern and subject areas such as art and design, natural history and textiles.
Our database is migrating to a brand new system and you can't search for boxes online at the moment. Please contact us for support in choosing the most suitable loan boxes for your needs.
Our Loan box membership is very good value or you can pay as you go:
- £325 for 5 boxes each half term
- £249 for 3 boxes each half term
- £110 for 1 box each half term
If you wish to borrow a box ad hoc it is £50 per box per half term, payment by card (over the phone) in advance of the loan.
