Monday 13 February  Urban Animals: LEGO® Brick Workshop Due to popular demand our LEGO® workshops are back! Join our talented locally-based international LEGO® Brick Expert Kevin Hall in these brilliant building sessions. An exciting chance to make your own urban animal model, inspired by the work of Ray Atkins in our latest exhibition. Book now to avoid disappointment! (Please note you will be creating a different model to the one shown in the picture.)

Tuesday 14 February  Victorian Day at Reading Museum
Dress as your favourite Victorian and come down to the Museum to visit us!

A Stitch in Time: Victorian Sewing Demonstration Activity Cart Join our sewing volunteers for an activity cart special, where they will be demonstrating sewing techniques. Have a go yourself and sew a simple Victorian heart decoration for Valentine’s Day.
Ages 5+, Families & Adults, drop in demonstration between 10.30am & 12.30pm
Free to observe, buy a small kit to try out (£2 per kit)

Victorian Collector: Fossils ECR  The finds of fossil collectors such as Mary Anning fascinated the Victorians and changed how they thought about the prehistoric world. Use clay and plaster to create your own ‘ancient’ fossil in this fun hands-on activity.
Ages 5+, Families, 1-hour sessions starting at 10am, 11.15am, 1pm & 2.15pm
£3.50, pay on the day, drop in*

Victorian Schoolroom Meet a Victorian schoolteacher and re-learn the ‘3Rs’. A 45-minute experience for adults and children over 5 in our unique Victorian classroom.
11.30am, 1.15pm & 2.30pm
£1 per person, drop in (35 places max per session)*

Wednesday 15 February  Make & Take: Messy Masks! Paint with your fingers and hands to create some colourful rainbow masks in these fun sessions.
Families, half-hour sessions 10.30am – 12.30pm & 1.30pm – 3.30pm

Thursday 16 February  Carpet of Crumbs: The Huntley & Palmers Biscuit Experience Step into the footsteps of a Huntley & Palmers factory worker and decorate your own bizarre and wonderful biscuits. A great session where you can immerse yourself in the town’s glorious baking past and come out with your own special Huntley & Palmers creation hot off the production line!
Ages 5+, Families, 45-minute sessions starting at 10am, 11am, 1pm, 2pm & 3pm
